    • AB 578 (Blakeslee)
      DRA supports AB 578, which would require the California Energy Commission to study and submit a report to the Legislature and the Governor on the impacts of renewable energy generation on the state's distribution and transmission grid. (April 9, 2007)
    • AB 690 (Jones)
      DRA supports AB 690 which would prohibit water companies regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission from receiving a profit on infrastructure or water supply investments made from sources other than the water companies' owners and investors. (April 17, 2007).
    • AB 826 (Levine)
      DRA supports AB 826 which would direct the CPUC to require telephone corporations to 1) provide customers with the ability to select a single product or service from a bundled package and 2) to notify their customers of this options as other important specified option, disclosures and marketing protections.     • AB 891 (DeLaTorre)
      DRA supports AB 891, as amended 4/12/07, which would require telecommunication service providers that advertise or negotiate a contract for service, verbally or in writing, in a language other than English, to provide the potential customer with a translation, verbally and in writing of any documents for service that discloses the key rates, terms and conditions of the contract for service.       DRA supports AB 1173 which would require water purveyor's to install meters in each rental unit of a multiunit residential structure by the specified time and require multi-unit residential property owners to disclose in writing to potential tenants the method with which their water bill will be calculated. (April 17, 2007)
    • AB 1234 (Wolk)
      DRA supports AB 1234 which would require the seller or transferor of specified residential dwelling unit or units to disclose by written statement whether the property being sold or transferred has an old floor or wall gas furnace and would require the furnace be replace if there is an old furnace. (April 17, 2007)
    • AB 1763 (Blakeslee)
      Would make electric and gas corporation monthly bills more user-friendly by adding to them specified cost and usage information, helping ratepayers make decisions to reduce their electricity or gas usage. **DRA supported AB 1763
    • AB 2385 (Ruskin)
      Would prohibit entities that have wireless subscriber aggregated or generated dialing number information from releasing this information to the public without first obtaining the express consent of these subscribers, as specified. **DRA supported AB 2385
    • AB 2857 (Lieber)
      Would prohibit the CPUC from denying the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) program’s 20% discount to eligible low-income individuals that live in a master-metered community but are not submetered. **DRA supported AB 2857
    • AB 3011 (Huffman)
      Would extend specified telephone corporation customer proprietary network information protections, as generally outlined below, to all wireline and wireless customers. Existing law extends these protections only to residential wireline customers. **DRA supported AB 3011
