The Division of Ratepayer Advocates is actively participating in a CPUC proceeding to revise General Order 103 (GO 103), Rules Governing Water Service Including Minimum Standards for Design and Construction. GO 103 was last revised in March 1994. Since then, changes in the water industry have necessitated a review and revision of the General Order, and DRA intends to assure that ratepayers benefit from the revisions
The CPUC has formed five working groups to discuss appropriate changes to meet the current needs of the water industry and the consumers. DRA is participating in each of the five working groups to ensure that ratepayers' best interests are protected while appropriate changes are recommended for revision to the Commission.
